The drills DT5040 are too long. The customer wishes to have the sizes as on Dormer drill. I.e. the ones that we sent a letter about earlier.

Can we produce a drill 10,5mm with worklength 15mm and total length approx. 35mm? The drills are to be used on acid proof steel. Quantity approx. 300 drills.

Hope that you will reply fast on this, because it's urgent for my customer.

Hi Pia,

"because it's in a hurry for my customer."

well, you have some options to make this line sound better, you may choose the one that better conveys the original, OK?

"because my customer is in a hurry."
"because it's urgent to my customer."
"because my customer is in urgent need of it."

Hi Pias, Hi Lilly

I have some suggestions for correction:

The drills DT5040 is too long.

Either: "The drills ... are too long"
Or: "The drill ... is too long"

The customer wish to have...

Either: "The customers wish to have"
Or: "The customer wishes

Can we produce a drill 10,5mm with worklenght 15mm and total length approx. 35mm, the drills shall be used on acid proof steel.

If this is a question there should be a question mark at the end of the phrase. If it is not a question "Can we" should read "We can".

"We can produce 10.5mm drill with 15mm worklength ... drills are to be used..."

"...because it's urgent for my customer."

Hope this helps

Not so important Accordig to what I have learned at the engineer school, in technical English, Acidproof is one word.
