Tarkan: "We need to put on our shalvar and go to Afghanistan or Iraq without anyone noticing." The singer Tarkan said that because of security concerns he did not accept the invitations to give concerts in Afghanistan and Iraq because of security concerns. "Security is quite weak;" he said, "the best thing for us to do is tag along with our own right here. I really want to go. We really should put on our shalvar and go without anyone noticing." Tarkan RELEASED THE DISTRIBUTION RIGHTS FOR HIS NEW ALBUM WHICH WAS TO BE RELEASED IN AUGUST FOR SALE. | Παρατηρήσεις σχετικά με τη μετάφραση | Translator's notes:
1) shalvar are a kind of baggy pants worn by traditional people in both regions
2) I wasn't sure about "çaktırmadan", which I translated as "without anyone noticing".
3) The phrase "güvenlik gerekçesiyle" is said twice in the original, so I wrote it twice in the English ("because of security concerns"). |
