Jag förstår tyvärr inte Latin så bra, men googlade och fann: "Seize the day and place no trust in tomorrow." Betydelsen ju är helt rätt i din översättning, men för att det ska låta lite mer flytande så föreslår jag: "Fånga dagen ,lita inte på morgondagen".

Egentligen, tycker jag att det bör:
"ha lite förtroende i morgon" (have little confidence in tomorrow)

I think it's right. "Credula" is an adjective which refers to the addressee of the poem (Leuconoe), but it can also be translated with a coordinate clause (which is the most simple and intelligible solution).
