Hi Rodrigues,
You forgot to state the bridge and the bridger's name in the remarks. Please, could you do it?

Hi Freya,

"I want to know the date. You come so that we can meet"
Shouldn't that be a single line?
"I want to know the date you come so that we can meet"

Hey Lili!

Actually, the original says this way:
"What to say to you, on Monday I leave for Romania, but I (will) come back. I want to know the date. You come (so that) I see you. That's all. Kisses."

First: Eu vreau să ştiu data. - I want to know the date.
The second: Tu vii să te văd. - You come so that I can see you/ meet you.

I guess they can be united in a single phrase, yes.

I hope it's clearer now. It's an SMS and I left it in the original form with two separate phrases.

Like to unite the phrases?

Yes, because the English version, for example, will have to join the sentences to make sense. Otherwise it seems "I want to know the date" refers to the previous sentence (I will be back)
See what I mean?

I have the original version in a comment below the original, I mean the text not corrected by me and I will leave it too in the comments area.

Good work!

@ Rodrigues, could you please adapt the bridge and the translation now?
Thanks.

OK, now I added a "când" = when and a "ca" to make it clearer in Romanian too and it now means "I want to know the date when you come so that I can see you/meet you".

The german version adapts now to this complete english bridge-text:

"What can I say to you, on Monday I wil leave for Romania, but I will be back. I want to know the date when you come so that I can see you/meet you. That's all. Kisses."

I hope it's in unity with the romanian text now..

Yes, it's OK in my opinion. If you want to change the verbs which now are at future tense into present as they are in the original, you can do it too. The part : "On Monday I leave for Romania, but I come back/return."

I think it's then ok, because the act can in relation to the time speaking/writing the text to someone only be in the future...

Yes, if it doesn't change the meaning, then it's no problem.
