Brevior is a comparative that means "shorter", not too short.
A comparative phrase should be formed with the preposition "quam".

brevior può essere solo ed esclusivamente un comparativo di maggioranza, con "quam" non facevo riferimento solo al complemento ma alla proposizione dipendente.

Per danzare (to dance) is a comparative phrase. Usually
"too" should be nimius, or nimium + gen.part., too short may be also perbrevis.
One might even use the comparative form, but I think a following simple infinive can not be right.
One exemple I found in my dictionary: imbecilliores sumus quam ut vincamus.
As for the question how would I translate: well, I wouldn't translate, because I don't think the phrase is clear Latin. It may even be in your exercise book, but it doesn't mean really it is a good one.

Anche a me sembra strano, ma "se la Googli" la traduzione sembra essere esatta...esiste anche nella versione

Ho guardato anch'io su google, ma se guardi bene non c'è nenche un sito serio, di vero Latino, voglio dire. Sono quasi tutti siti americani che raccolgono anche altri gioielli come: braccae tuae aperiuntur (your fly is open). Insomma, è latino-americano!
