Having had a desire to travel since I was very young, I went to New Zealand for a year at the age of 15. This proved to be a very fruitful year, as much with respect to my studies as to my personal relationships. Although I initially knew no one, I quickly made friends and came to feel at home there. I discovered the study of animal behavior. In order to deepen my understanding of this field, I went on to take a course in the cognitive processes of the parrot. As I found this course fascinating, I now know that the study of animal behavior and environmental protection is the path I wish to follow in the future.
