Don't piss me down
Don't cross my nation
I can never get enough
I want something now
Do the rock you baby ya
It's time to go
I wanna live the way like a
sleep all the morning
Going, getting off all night
Nothing would be better
You gotta ska me baby ya
Get ready to go
Remarks about the translation
It´s a ska song

lilian,

I don't know what's "ska" either (seems to be a musical rhythm), but "cross my nation", IMHO, is "cruzar mi país" ["atravessar meu país"].

Hope it helps,

Goncin:

I know "cross my nation" means "cruza mi país". What I'm asking about, is the meaning of the words, in this text. All that doesn't make any sense to me. Of course , lyrics are most of the time meaningless for those who are not fans of the style of music...
Should we translate "literally"? I don't think so.
Anyway, I found out about SKA and it is exactly what I supposed: A Jamaican musical style of fast beat.

I'll turn SAP key off here...

lilian,

"Do the rock you baby ya" seria o qué???
Você arriscaria traduzir e ser "bombardeado" por uma semana?
Not me, baby! I've had enough!
hahaha
