The World Organization for the Development of the Esperantist Economy, founded on April 12th, 2008, is a non-profit legal person under private law, holding indefinite duration, having its headquarters in Brazil and laying under Brazilian jurisdiction, ruled by this statute and by the general dispositions of the Brazilian Law which apply to it as "PISCO" (public interest civil society organization).
