"joy" is absolutely out of space there ("it is my hope and joy" ), the initial text says "dette er mit håb om at" which means "it is my hope that". And, an another small opinion, if I may. For that part "hvad jeg har brugt min tid på" I would rather say "how I have spent my time with". Not "what" but "how", even, the word-by-word translation would be "what I have spent my time with".
In the end, is the right of the English expert to decide!

Enfin je ne suis pas sûr que l'auxiliaire marquant le futur "vil" convienne après un début de phrase aussi hypothétique que ("Det er mit haab og glaede at..."
