Paskutinės žinutės | | | | | 28 rugsėjis 2011 22:14 | | | I think it is "no verb-request"... CC: pias | | | 29 rugsėjis 2011 10:44 | | piasŽinučių kiekis: 8113 | Not sure about that Aneta. It's a short phrase, but I guess the receiver will know what this is about.

I just announced that the request didn't contain any verb [rule 4]. Your bridge confirms that. | | | 29 rugsėjis 2011 12:09 | | piasŽinučių kiekis: 8113 | But 'Thank you very much" is shortened for "I thank you..." (?) In some way it's implicit in this sentence. MO :-) | | | 29 rugsėjis 2011 13:35 | | | Hm, you're actually right, but I'm still not sure we can accept it, because "thank you" is a phrase without a verb in many languages , for ex. in Italian "grazie" is not a verb but an interjection.
Lilly, what do you think? CC: lilian canale | | | 29 rugsėjis 2011 13:41 | | | Yes, Pia. You are right. We can consider it an ellipsis. I've searched for this lines in the already accepted requests since they are common requests, however I couldn't find them in Bosnian (only "Hvala Vam!" meaning 'thank you' ). Then I think we can accept the request. | | | 30 rugsėjis 2011 09:05 | | piasŽinučių kiekis: 8113 | Thanks for your answer Lilian. Yes, you are right -it's an ellipsis (couldn't find that word... :P) |
