The translator has forgotten to translate senteces in plural:
...marketing- and publicity plans for products.
Then: "Man plans..." instead of "he plans..."
"Man co-operates..."

Hello dear Pias,
I understand that in the whole text we are taking about the task and qualification of a sales manager. I have tried to stay as near to the Swedish wording as possible. Here is how I would translate more freely:
"The marketing manager’s main task is to make the marketing- and publicity plans for products or services. He plans and works out the marketing strategy. He co-operates with the advertising agency in order to work out advertising and marketing.

The marketing manager must be good in planning his work. He must be able to sell and to find arguments that promote sales. The marketing manager must have knowledge of graphic form and be good in expressing himself orally and in writing."

Minny,
it wasn't my intention to criticize your WHOLE translation, you are a very good translator! (I couldn't done this better myself.) I'm sure you have understood the source text!

The only part I'm not sure of is that "man", and I wonder ? ? ? if it could be translated as "one" ....but as I can see now (in the notes) you have indicated that this might be about a male or a female, so PLEASE Minny, don't missunderstand my comment.

Hallo dear Pias,
As you can see above, I have now changed the translation to the best I know.

I always welcome you to suggest improvements. I think it is important that we all do our best, to the best of our knowledge. If I think that I find an error or that I can make an improvement in the text, I also make my comments. In the end the experts will make their decision and we all have the opportunity to learn. A great system!
And by the way, it is a pleasure to co-operate with you.:-)
Best regards,
Minny
