Whether we call them sixth sense, premonitions or ominous forethoughts, all of us surely had one, or a few, instances in our lives when we took our odd hunches as guides and acted upon them.

hi lilian,
no i mean it exactly like it says. it should be read together with second part of the sentence after the semicolon. maybe i should change it into a comma and lose the capital A?
i don't see what's wrong with'to act upon'

i never asked you to delete any msg.
i did disagree with your corrections and asked you to either enforce them yourself as an expert or ask an expert to mediate. i deleted it because i felt it was better to ask this in a pm which i did.
you deleted so that one cant asses anymore whether my request was reasonable or not.
so much for peer review.

btw: whether IS used correctly here

Hi kfeto

I would simply put an "s" at "premonition" and include "or a few" between commas.

I wondered whether by "bad" forethoughts, you could put "serious" forethoughts (I don't know what the Turkish reads, but "bad" seems to be in dichotomy with the idea of it having been a good idea to have followed any wild hunches).

Let me know what you think.

As this is a meaning only, and the English is really quite fine for the rest, I have already set the poll

I guess I'll leave this in your capable hands then, Tantine!
Laura might be of valuable help here, because she reads Turkish so well too!

Thanks for the notification, Lilly!

Ooooooh Ian,

That's a nice one!! I didn't think of "ominous", but I quite like it, and it would be closer to "bad" than "serious".

What do you think kfeto?
