Hi Ionut Andrei

The English looks fine as far as I can see, so I'll set a poll. Two questions:

- Do you know and could you explain what the recollection is? We may need to clarify this in the notes.
- Do you mean 'chased away' (you have got in, someone chases you out, running after you) or 'turned away' (they won't let you in)?

Hi!

This is another quote, this time of Jean Paul Richter. The English version that I've found on the net is this: "Our memories are the only paradise from which we can never be expelled."
In Romanian the subject is singular: our memory, remembrance, but in English should be plural, it sounds better, I think - it's about the paradise made of (our) good memories.

Hope it helps.

As fi folosit cuvantul memory in loc de recollection.

BUT, there are some differences between the text submitted here and the English version on the net: here it's written at 2nd person, singular, "you", and on the net, in English is written for 1st person, plural, "we" + the "never" that doesn't appear here.

I don't know a better translation if there is one, but the way that Ionut Andrei translated is faithful to the source, now it's only up to you, Lein, to make it look natural in English, based on the original that was submitted here.

It's quite hard when quotes are submitted in a different language than the original.
