Hello, Angelus, could you please try to improve quality of this translation? some details, such as "in quam" (relative to "novam urbem", then "plurimae merces", then also "a tota terrarum" are not that precisely translated.

I saw you intended to use that "passive/active mode" of translation as well, but maybe you should have kept passive mode...

As Latin needs some training I didn't have for a long time, and as I'm short in time I can't help you more, but try and I'll see that this evening. Thanks

Hello Francky,

I had to look up for some words and Latin phrases on my Latin book and maybe there's another way to translate this..

what do you think of: Avec la croissance de Rome, Ancus Martius fonda une nouvelle ville près du littoral or <<fut fondée par Ancus Martius une nouvelle ville près du littoral>>

vers laquelle nombreuses marchandises étaient acheminées par navires depuis le monde entier pour les Romains.

Oh yes! that's a good one! "Avec" is a better translation here, and especially the second part is much better ("vers laquelle de nombreuses marchandises étaient acheminées par navires depuis le monde entier pour les Romains." great!
