This year the Mawlid an Nabi of our Prophet falls on Friday evening, the 30th of March on the Christian calendar. He passed away on Monday evening in the year 632. Remarks about the translation	This is a bridge translation. It is about the prophet Mohammed, and the celebration of his birthday. I have used the generally accepted English spellings of the Arabic terms. The Arabic holiday "Mawlid an Nabi" is called "Mevlid Kandili" in Turkish. PBUH = Peace be upon him - a standard thing to say in Islam after the name of someone holy who has passed away.
