互ã„ã« is not needed, because åˆã† of verb 助㑠means
"help each other". 互ã„ã«åŠ©ã‘åˆã† sounds like "help each other each other" in english. | | | 23 Οκτώβριος 2010 16:32 | | | Ian, could you check this translation and Mikhail's input.

Notes:
Mihail's grammatical addition ("de ari" ) sounded better to me, too.
As for the phrase used to translate "help each other", the translator's version sounded all right to me, but just to make sure, I Googled it as a phrase (in "quotation marks", so it wouldn't get searched for in pieces), and it came up with 197,000+ hits, so obviously some other Japanese people consider it to not be too redundant to use...
On the other hand, "linguistic knowledge" had simply been translated with a very general word meaning "ability" (in spite of the fact that the exact term for "linguistic knowledge" is also used in Japanese): this was corrected. | | | 25 Οκτώβριος 2010 02:06 | | ccdjΑριθμός μηνυμάτων: 8 | This is indeed a better translation (ã§ã‚ã‚Šã€ã€€è¨€èªžçŸ¥è˜). As for the redundancy, i don't know as it is indeed (mis?)used quite often here. |
