| | Hi mireia.
You had to add punctuation because your translation of "sabes nos vemos" is wrong.
Also, don't introduce capitals and punctuation that is not in the source text. That is editing, not translating.
Would you like to try again? At this point I would reject the translation with a low rating, but you can redo it and I will rate your final work.

| | Hello! It's bad translated because the translation to Spanish is wrong. Without any punctuation mark it doesn't have any sense, so ask to the one who translated to Spanish!
Sorry anyway!

| | The Spanish is not a translation - it's the original text. The note under the text says that it was a comment written on a photograph of her by a Spanish friend.
However, I think that it may be necessary to add punctuation for the English version, as it may not make any sense otherwise. |

| | Kafetzou, that's the point. Without punctuation it doesn't have any meaning, so when I translated it to English I edited it for it to be understandable. |

| | I was saying that I agree with you, mireia. |

| iriniNumber of messages: 849 | Is it possible (I am asking) that it's poor Spanish for "you know we are going to meet again"? I mean I think it's almost a "que" away from that meaning. |

| guilonNumber of messages: 1549 | No, Irini, this really is an awfully punctuated text but there is no "que" missing since this "¿sabes?" is a very usual expression inserted here and there in spoken Spanish. And "nos vemos" is a very common way to say goodbye.
I don't think it's only a "que" away from the meaning you suggested, "sabes 'que' NOS VOLVEREMOS A VER" would be. "Sabes que nos vemos" doesn't make sense and is much worse than poor Spanish. Anyway we shouldn't get lost in conjectures.
I think mireia did an excellent translation. |

| iriniNumber of messages: 849 | My apologies guilon, I didn't mean to imply anything. I have to approve the Greek translation and since the original Spanish text was faulty and I have this stupid, as it proves to be, question I thought I'd ask. |
