Hi Goncin,

I was just wondering if "to get back up" (or getting back up) would not be more appropriate? It's just a suggestion, as it is not specifically implied in the Spanish version. But I think it is like the difference between "se lever" and "se relever"

Yes, Tantine, the sense of "get back up" is so implicit in Spanish I didn't ever figure it out. I think Spanish don't have a verb for that, as we in Portuguese don't have either.

I think the gerund would be better than the infinitive in both of these cases: falling and getting back up or getting back on one's feet.
