is this "yaaaa" to be read as if it was "heeeeere", looks like it is!

Well I would write: "== Hi, how are you? What are you doing! I'm in India.It's evening, yeh. Seems quite clear to me.

"It's evening here" seems to make sense, as he's chatting with someone at the other side of the planet. Then it sounds alike. But you're right, this way of "writing" doesn't help to know what is the "official way" to say it...

Yes, Think you right about "evening here" but I think the two sentences are right too. (Ce que j'ai dans la tête, je ne l'ai pas ailleurs). But of course, only suggestions.
