David | | | 1 Februar 2008 10:32 | | NekoTal av boðum: 72 | How can I re-edit it?
The only thing I can change though is the last sentence: please, insert this text and the text below in your answer e-mail.
Sorry, I can't do it better...
Neko | | | 1 Februar 2008 10:43 | | | Thanks...I only expect a person to try. Let me make a few suggestions for you.
This is the problem. "Please insert in your e-mail this and lower written text."
It probably should be something like this: "Please insert this in the "text box" below the "subject" line in your Email."
Check this against the original and edit it along these lines and we should be fine. | | | 1 Februar 2008 11:08 | | NekoTal av boðum: 72 | Well, the problem is, that in original message is said to put this text (=what is given) and the text below (=I have no idea, what it is, it seems to be more text given) in the answer e-mail.
I'll try to write it once more time, with Your suggestions included.
"Hello,
Please reply to this e-mail to verify the changes. Please insert this text and the text placed below in the "text box" line in your e-mail."
I hope, it'll do it now. | | | 1 Februar 2008 11:51 | | | Now that sounds much better...but probably one small edit:
Please insert this text and the following text in the "text box" line in your e-mail.
If you think this gives the meaning of the original we can go with it.
Best,
David | | | 1 Februar 2008 12:03 | | NekoTal av boðum: 72 | Yes, thank You very much!
It gives the meaning of original and I hope the person who requested it will be pleasured.
Thank You again!
Neko | | | 1 Februar 2008 14:42 | | | Thanks! Actually, there was more text below this, but it was just an address, so I didn't include it here because I thought it wasn't important... I really appreciate your help, thank you very very much! | | | 2 Februar 2008 16:59 | | | Hi,
I made an Edit based on your input and I think we might have it now. Please look this over for me and let me know if you think it fits the meaning. If so, we will put it to a vote. | | | 2 Februar 2008 21:13 | | | @dramati: yes, it's understandable, but I would put it this way:
"Hello,
please reply to this e-mail to verify the changes. Please insert the following text in your email reply."
It might not be "word per word", but I think it has a clearer meaning. Anyway, even the first reply was useful enough for me, and that's what mattered to me.
Once again, thanks. |
