It's too bad not having shared a longer time with you. This is ok for a translation but if you want it to sound right in English you should try something like, "It's too bad we didn't have more time to spend together." Yes, I know it isn't an exact translation, but you can't give an exact translation if you want to express the same feeling in another language.

Hi David, you are right, there are some better, more poetic options for a statement like that.
We would like every requester to submit perfectly well written texts, whatever the language they use. Unfortunately, we deal with some puzzling texts which have to be guessed before being translated. That is the case of this really poor Spanish. As you see the request is "meaning only" due to the many spelling mistakes and the wrong structure, so I can tell you, the sentence was a lot better than what the exact translation of it would have been.
I wish everybody was able to write Spanish like Cervantes did, but...
Anyway, I will please you and accept your suggestion to improve the translation, even if the original request doesn't deserve it.
