Το ρήμα "οφείλεις" δεν αντιστοιχεί στο γαλλικό κείμενο διότι σημάινει πως βγάζει κανείς κάτι καλό από το θάνατο. Οσο για το "tu dois mourir de ta propre mort" είναι πολύ δύσκολο να μεταφραστεί στα ελληνικά. Προτείνω (χωρίς η μετάφρασή μου να είναι τέλεια) "Ζήσε τη δική σου γιατί εσύ ο ίδιος θα πεθάνεις". Επίσης είναι περιττή η επαναφορά της λέξης "ζωή" στο 2ο στοίχο.

You could write that, (Ζήσε τη δική σου ζωή γιατί εσύ ο ίδιος θα πεθάνεις) but the translation Ισóλτε suggests is the best, I think. It is true to the original text.

The Frensh translation is not correct! The original text says: See you in Nangiala. It doesn't say that it will be soon."À bientôt" means that it will be soon."Θα βλεπόμαστε στην Nangiala" would be the best translation. Because Nangiala is the place you go to when you die, and in ths case the brother doesn't want it to be soon!!

Yes, "à bientôt" has got the meaning you told, gamine, it doesn't mean only "see you soon", so, in this context, "à bientôt" is a correct translation.
