Разве в этом предложении "Domashnij za4em vzjal" говорится о номере телефона? На мой взгляд, тут говорится о том, что человек звонит по городскому(домашнему) телефону, т.е.: Domashnij za4em vzjal=Зачем ты звонишь по домашнему телефону?

Вообще, довольно странный текст.
Я так поняла, что человек звонит на домашний номер телефона,а респондент не доволен звонком и спрашивает, зачем взял домашний номер, когда есть мобильный, и можно звонить на него, как я понимаю, в любое время.
Поэтому я и дала такой перевод.

Текст действительно странный! И понять его можно по-разному.
Я поняла ситуацию так, что кто-то очень долго болтает по домашнему телефону, а кому-то еще тоже нужно позвонить, и болтающему по телефону говорят: "Хватит болтать! Зачем ты взял домашний? Мог бы по мобильному ей позвонить".

Может быть, стоит второй возможный перевод написать в комментарии к переводу? Как Вы думаете?

I think that the "Domashnij" means not the phone number but the phone as device.

Frankly speaking, we can not judge about that from the text: both variants are possible. But the first one is almost senseless in common life - why the one can not call to home number and must call to cell? If it's not a detective story, there's no sense But if we speak about device which is used BY initiator of the conversation, then the cell phone could be much cheaper to do that and there's a sense... That's my try to find a sense in senseless :P
