I choose to translate this Indian saying because -as you well observe- of its wisdom. Moreover, I saw that it was submitted by yourself.
Regarding the plural sense of that “you†in the last line, the more I think on it, the more I am convinced that it is plural; most probably being addressed to “usâ€: the European exploiters and ravagers of their ancestral lands (and, by the way, any other lands…)
