Incomparable views of the Golden Horn, historical Istanbul, the entrance of the Bosphorus and the Asian side are seen at their best from the Galata Tower. The tower - which had been built with the purpose of watching the port and the city - has later on been used in various ways for ages; nowadays, people go there to watch the view as it used to be. The top two floors of the tower, which can be reached using elevator, have been made into a restaurant and a night club. You cannot get enough of watching the view of Istanbul from there and from the panorama terrace.
