Yes, we do have (password = senha), but sometimes people just prefer the English terms to seem... well... more cool!?

Thanks for the edit, goncin! Yes, here in France,some people use English terms although we have the French word for it.
And about "cool", it's a word that is very often employed, since the early seventies...
