I think the original "e una" in the Spanish source is a simple contraction of "de una", which sounds a little awkward: "...aDO DE u..."; "...aDO e u..." is much smoother. "estoy enamorado de una ..." is the idiom.
Sorry - I forgot to tell everyone that the requester sent me a private message saying that he meant to write "de", but since we had already changed the original I didn't think to let everyone know.
