The Coliseum is an old amphitheatre that was built in ancient Rome for entertainment show purposes, like Gladiator fights and other sorts of shows like animal hunting. It was adapted to hold up to 45.000 people. According to the estimation, 500.000 people died in shows that were performed at the amphitheatre. Nowadays, the Coliseum is a popular tourist attraction in Rome and a symbol of the city. On the 7th of July 2007 the Coliseum was chosen to be one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

This is a lot better, however there are still some corrections to be made:
I wouldn't repeat "ancient" in the first line. Perhaps we could say "an old amphitheatre"
populate till ----> hold up to
were arranged ----> were performed
the new seven world marvels.
---> the New Seven Wonders of the World. | | | 7 July 2008 22:20 | | C.K.Number of messages: 173 | Hi lilian,
This one is important to be decently translated, it's from a teacher in Israel to her "History class" students.
I hope it's better now.

What I try to do by insisting on corrections is getting the most accurate translation, no matter who is requesting it.
ALL translations are supposed to be as perfect as possible.
Now, the English is correct, let's set a poll and see if the meaning is exact too, OK? | | | 7 July 2008 23:00 | | C.K.Number of messages: 173 | I understand Lilian,
OK, I agree
I think with the cooperation we made, it must be well.

Gives a good general picture of the meaning but far from totally correct. | | | 9 July 2008 03:57 | | | Again, David, what is wrong, exactly? | | | 23 July 2008 15:09 | | | | | | 28 July 2008 00:33 | | C.K.Number of messages: 173 | Hi all,
I wonder what isn't correctly translated, I checked it again and it's fine for me!
Please, any comments are tremendously appreciated and answering the question is doubled!
