You have my vote Lene, but I think "Jeg er glad i deg" can be translated in two ways, either as it is or "I really like you" (not in a romantic way). I guess here, we don't know the circumstances, right.

Well, Pia. I do agree with you but last time I had translated "Jeg er glad i dig" by "Im fond of you"
Hege told me it should be " I love you" or "I'm in love with you" that's the reason why this time i used love. I'm not the Norgegian expert.
So Hege, It's up to you to decide.

I love you - is often used as " jeg er glad i deg".
It is stronger than I am fond of you....

But I am in love with you - is wrong
