마지막 글 | | | | | 2008년 5월 3일 01:07 | | | Hi Pia,
That last line "Belongs in ....."
Wouldn't that be: "It is in..."? | | | 2008년 5월 3일 10:01 | | | Yes, sounds good. I didn't knew that you can write that way in English, thank you Lilian!
I'll correct. | | | 2008년 5월 3일 19:32 | | | Tycker inte "but is right now unlicensed" är rätt översatt i denna mening. Utan snarare "but is at the time unlicensed". Och samma med " It's in", det borde snarare stÃ¥ "To be found in Norrköping". | | | 2008년 5월 3일 19:55 | | | Hello Jarla,
agree with you about the last line. It sounds better to my ears. Shall I edit Lilian?
About "but is at the time unlicensed", I don’t know, because to be exact, the source doesn't say anything about either "at the time" or "right now". Word by word it is just: "but is unlicensed" ...but I guess that you must "add" something there to be a whole sentence in English. So I think that both of them are correct.
| | | 2008년 5월 4일 09:48 | | | i got one question tho, what do you mean by "NOT the wheel sizing on the picture" whats wheel sizing? | | | 2008년 5월 4일 10:16 | | | Hello elmota,
I think that I have made a big misstake here by writing "wheel sizing". The correct word should probably be "(Wheel)Rim". The origin just says that the rim on the picture is not include. "Not the rim on the picture."
Shall I correct it Lilian? | | | 2008년 5월 4일 21:05 | | | Lilian,
I discovered something..see above.
I can also see that people voting for (!) what do you think? Shall I edit to "wheel rim" or is it ok. to write "wheel sizing"? CC: lilian canale | | | 2008년 5월 4일 21:44 | | | Hi Pia,
rim = the outer part of a wheel to which the tire is attached.
As far as I know (not too far, though ) the wheel and the rim are different things and both have a size.
So if the text in Swedish is about the rim, I think it should be "rim size"
| | | 2008년 5월 4일 22:00 | | | Wheel sizing is something about the size of the rim. Fälg = rim.
Probably the car has some nice rims that he don't want to sell, and probably he don't want to sell the tyres as well.
I think it should simply be: NOT the rims on the picture. | | | 2008년 5월 4일 22:00 | | | Ok
So I will edit ...my knowledge about cars are also a bit "so-so", that's why I asked you.
But can't it just be "rims"? | | | 2008년 5월 4일 22:02 | | | We post exactly at the same time Bamsa! | | | 2008년 5월 4일 22:08 | | | Pia, that means that we are on the right way | | | 2008년 5월 4일 22:26 | | | Yes, it sounds right now.
I think that I can edit without your permission Lilian, I'll do that. |
