RÖNESANS DÖNEMİ

Rönesans dönemi 9.yüzyılda başladı. Klasik müziğin kökeni yunan ve Yahudi kültürüne dayanmaktaydı. Notaların bulunuşu;
Saint Jean kasidesinin Latince olan ilk dizesindeki sözcüklerden ilk hecelerini aldı..
(“ut” 17. yüzyılda Ronancini tarafından “do” olarak değiştirildi.)
Avrupa’da ortaçağ kilisesinde org harici hiçbir çalgı çalınmazdı. Çünkü diğer çalgılar çok tanrılı dinlere özgüydü. Rönesans yeniden doğuş demektir.

THE RENAISSANCE PERIOD

The Renaissance Period began in the 9th century. The origin of classical music was based on Greek and Jewish cultures. The invention of the musical notes;
Saint Jean took the initial syllables of the words in the first line which was written in Latin of his encomium which was written in Latin.
( in the 17th century 'ut' was changed as 'do' by Ronancini.)
In Europe no other instruments were played apart from organ in church during the Middle Ages. Because the other instruments were peculiar to polytheistic religions. The word 'Renaissance' means 'rebirth'.
Remarks about the translation

this part needs editing:
"Saint Jean took the initial syllables of the words in the first line which was written in Latin of his encomium."

it should be:
"Saint Jean took the initial syllables of the words in the first line of his encomium which was written in Latin.

smy, in the text it is said that only the first line is written in Latin. ıf we edited as you offered, then the meaning would change. ıt is not written like that : "latince olan kasidesinin ilk dizesi", just the opposite it is written as that : "...kasidesinin latince olan ilk dizesi".
the adjective is belonged to the first line not the encomium totally.

regards....

I think so too handyy and I voted but it makes the sentence order sound a little odd this way, isn't it?

sana da handdy ama şimdi o kısım daha acaip oldu!
dramati, it should not be:
"Saint Jean took the initial syllables of the words in the first line which was written in Latin of his encomium which was written in Latin. "

but it should be:

"Saint Jean took the initial syllables of the words in the first line of his encomium which was written in Latin.
