Remarks about the translation	Il s'agit d'un passage tirÃ© du chapitre XXIV des Merveilles du Monde de Caius Julius Solinus, oÃ¹ est dÃ©crit le mont Atlas. Il faut lire "choris aegipanum" [abl.] et non "chorus". J'ai traduit "per oram maritimam" par "le long de, etc.", l'idÃ©e est sans doute que l'on peut entendre rÃ©sonner les instruments jusqu'aux rivages = Ã travers le rivage.

Translation English Translated by Efylove	Target language: English [Mount Atlas] is entirely silent during the day and, isolated, it arouses horror; [at night] it is enlightened by nocturnal fires and it echoes everywhere with the choirs of Aegipans; you can hear the singing of flutes and the tinkle of cymbals along the seashore.
Remarks about the translation	Cap. XXIV, Caius Julius Solinus, "De Mirabilibus Mundi". He's talking about Mount Atlas. Literally: "it isn't isolated without horror"; "the singing of flutes and the tinkle of cymbals are heard". "Per oram maritimam" = you can hear the singing of these instruments even along the seashore.
