Colloquendo --> colloquentes
I know, in Italian it would be working just this way, but not in Latin, dear Alex.
"cum virtute fac"?
Did you mean: "cum virtute age"?
| | | 25 Januar 2011 00:23 | | | And the word order has to be changed too:
Homines colloquentes... | | | 25 Januar 2011 00:54 | | | It can be also expressed in ablativo absoluto: Hominibus colloguentibus... if you want to say: " People while talking(are getting to know each other)". | | | 25 Januar 2011 17:43 | | | Cara Aneta!
1) "cum virtute age"
2) A rough bridge would be "It's by talking (to each other) that people understand each other".
Sincerely, I am not sure that colloquentes is the best translation of "by talking". I think that gerundium modus declined at the ablative case (in which way?/quomodo?) would convey better the source text.

Let's see what the bridge will say, ok?
Hi Lilly!
Can I have another bridge, please?
