-'Keep it close to your heart' means 'kalbine yakin tut' ('keep close' bir kaliptir ve 'yakin durmak' demek).
- by saying 'until I finish my work' the requester means 'eserimi tamamlayana kadar'-> pls see the requester's comment under the source text.
- for 'postcard' would be better to use 'kartpostal' .
-'engel olmayana kadar'-> 'engel kalmayana kadar'

I don't think I'm needed here, Franck. Although it was not clear what the requester meant by "work" in the original request, he has since made it clear, as he apparently knows some Turkish, and Figen Kırcı is helping with the rest of it.

ben de once 'onu' yazmistim, ama uymadi, cunku soyle bir durum var:
leonardo sevdigi kiza cizdigi tabloyu bu sozlerle gondermek istiyor. dolayisiyla her nekadar 'it'=>'o/onu' demek olsa da, elde somut bir nesne var ve verilen mesajla ifade 'bunu/ bu kartpostal'a donusuyor. yani kiz tabloyu eline alacak ve su sozleri okuyacak '....-a kadar bunu kalbine yakin tut.'
