I need your help again could you please tell us what that word means?
(why I can't CC Garret and Ramarren?) CC: RainnSaw gaponka Melissenta afkalin | | | 29 Heinäkuu 2008 08:27 | | | handyy
This word denotes the following: "open cylindrical or conical element (like rim or drum, or ring, or short pipe) which is used in manufacturing of weld-fabricated or wooden vessels, resonators, musical instruments, etc."
Frankly speaking, I have found the translation in my technical vocabulary. The word can be translated in different ways. For example, for fuel (oil) tank it will be "tank course", for barrel - "barrel section", for pipe - "pipe course", for diffuser - "diffuser cowling". So I do think there is no single English word for this Russian termin. I hope someone does understand what I just have written )))) | | | 29 Heinäkuu 2008 09:56 | | | All I can say, when I was working in some factory, we used to call this thing "shell ring" in English =) |
