I think "a saying among us" would be better. And "beloved" instead of "loved".

Well, I agree with megastein, I can't think anything else about it - except its being a name (Akın).

Although the translation of the words 'content' and 'heureuse' is correct, maybe it's better to use two different words in English, too. E.g.
changing (French) 'content' in (English) 'content' or 'pleased'.

What this last line is all about...? It's a mistery to me.

The original was "ben seni bu gün weya yarın icin sewmedm" (Ben seni bu gün veya yarın için sevmedim) = I didn't love you (only) for today or tomorrow.
