Here it is:

"Once upon a time, there was a sly fox, as all of the foxes. She walked an entire night looking for food and didn't find anywhere. When the dawn came, the fox went to the margin of the road and lay down under a bush, thinking of what to do in order to find something to eat."

I have translated "Făcându-se ziua albă" by "when the dawn came", but it is not word-b-word translated. The initial text says "When the day became white" - it is a poetic day of saying "the morning came".

Domingos, de acordo com a ponte em inglês cedida pela Iepurica, a sua tradução deveria ser:

Era uma vez raposa manhosa, tal e qual como as outras. Ela andou uma noite inteira atrás de comida mas não encontrou em lado nenhum. Quando a madrugada veio, a raposa foi à beira da estrada e pousou-se por baixo de um arbusto, pensando numa maneira de descobrir algo para comer.
