My dictionary: "to fight against somebody for something" -> "cum aliquo de aliqua re pugnare"

But it is not "against" sth, but "for" sth, Alex.

Nobody fights against love... Hope so.

I trust your suggestion, no doubt! I'm just wondering why my dictionary would propose such incorrect translations. Maybe it has some little nuance of meaning...

"De amore pugno"
=I fight with love
It could mean that:
1. you and love are partners who fight together against or for sth/sb(what is rather wrong interpretation)
or
2. the love is a mean of your fight (your arm).
