Yeah, sorry about that! I knew you would of course perfectly understand the source text! (It was very short anyway, so I could decipher what word meant what, in correspondence to my French too!) So I just fixed up the English way of expressing that idea, and then validated the translation.

Would it have been better etiquette to have asked you first, before I went ahead and fixed the English? I'm still new at this validating process, and I want to make sure I do it right...

Don't worry regarding etiquette about me, Ian. I suppose experts for a given language are intended to edit, fix and even reject a translation of mine, because they are native speakers for that language and I'm just a learner.
