Cultural differences are very obvious, because I don't understand why did Justinianus II hold such a thing. Can I guess it was a symbol of succession or power? Or did it mean the temple was celebrated for him? Or he was the real owner of the ST. Ravenna temple? Then, what is the use or purpose of the small chapel?
