You have already explained be the meaning of to me meant to . You told me that it is equal to the verb to be supposed to which means some kind of necessity. But I guess here, to be meant to means something related to destiny. Am I right?

I wonder if we can say:

-Bazı insanlar birbirlerine aşık olmak için yaratılmışlardır, birlikte olmak için değil.

Or should I keep ahriman's translation even if I think that the verb zorunda olmak is not suitable here?

Yes - you're right, but I think your translation is too strong. Would it work to just say "olmalı/olmamalı" here?

P.S. I agree that ahriman's translation is not correct.
