- Ik werk in een boekhandel.
Dat had ik nou echt nooit geraden.
En je komt hier vast niet vandaan.
- Ik kom uit een plaatsje in Ohio.

Wat, Ohio? Ja, dat is een van de
vijftig staten, als ik me niet vergis.
Ik woon hier net twee maanden.
En, wat vind je ervan, tot nu toe?

Remarks about the translation	of the 1st sentence, the word 'eigenlijk' [meaning 'actually'] has been omitted in the translation. 'what do you do for a living' would be the best reflection of what is meant in the Dutch text.
