Al bar italiani fanno colazione o premdono un...
Text
Submitted by linamedl
Source language: Italian

Al bar italiani fanno colazione o premdono un caffé dopo il lavoro. Normalmente, restano al bar per pochi minuti.
Al caffé, invece, gli italiani passano un po´ di tempo. Prendono un caffé, una birra, un té o un gelato. Mangiano anche dolci e paste, prendono un panino o un tramezzino. Parlano, incontrano gli amici, leggono i giornali.
Al bar e al caffé si deve spesso pagare alla cassa, poi ordinare al banco e mostrare lo scontrino.

Title
Italienska café-traditionen
Translation
Swedish

Translated by Jumali3
Target language: Swedish

I cafébaren äter italienarna frukost och tar en kaffe efter jobbet. I vanliga fall stannar de bara där några få minuter. I caféfiket däremot kan italienarna tillbringa lite tid. De tar en kaffe, en öl, eller en kopp te. De äter även sötsaker och kakor, de tar en baguette eller en sandwich. De snackar, umgås med vänner och läser tidningar. I cafébaren och i caféfiket måste man oftast betala i kassan, du kan beställa i disken och visa ditt kvitto.
Remarks about the translation
Denna text kommer från grundkursen i italienska vid Lunds Universitet.

kaffe = espresso
te = i ett glas eller en kopp
sötsaker och kakor = vetebröd/croissanter
kvitto = verifikation på att du har betalat

I think this has to be rejected since the alternative texts have to be put inside the appropriate field.

Hm... Do you mean that the 'notes' is wrong??

The note is just explaining that this text's origin is from a basic course in Italian at Lunds university. It is not a alternative text...I think.

No, all the text in parentheses (which do not appeAr in the origginal). Maybe you (or the translator)'ll want to move them to the note field. The structure seems to be ok; although I didn't check all the meanings.

Hi,
thanks! Didn´t know that was the proper way to do it. You cannot translate directly from italian to swedish without explaining the meaning of the italian words.

Ok; I have reset my vote to "Jag vet inte"
But as far as I know it seems correct to me.
