"Life changes"
Is this a life which changes something or a life which is changed by itself?
"you change".
Is it "you" who changes something, or "you" which is changed by him/herself.
I'm asking because English has no "medium voice", so it always uses active voice, for example
I change him. /active/
I change myself./medium/
There is not a medium voice in Latin too, but it is replaced by a "passive voice"...
Thank you Lilly! Yes it was clear for me, but Latin translation was expressed in the active voice and it suggests that an object is different than a subject.
Alex, I believe you should have used the passive voice here (with medial meaning):
Vita mutat quando tu mutas -->Vita mutatur quando tu mutaris.
