I've never heard "Ich habe dich ganz fest gern" before.. I only know "Ich habe dich ganz doll lieb", which is in about the same style as the original text (sounds a bit as if it was said by a child). But I can't think of any correction, that would still go along with the source, so let's keep it like that.
