Love doesn't see with the eyes, but with the soul.
Although I'd use "through" instead of "with" | | | 29 September 2009 21:41 | | | | | | 30 September 2009 13:39 | | | Please, Aneta, edit your translation | | | 30 September 2009 15:29 | | | Oh, I thought you would do this like always... But ok, I can do this too. | | | 30 September 2009 15:37 | | | Before the translation goes to the poll, the translator is the one who makes the edits (if s/he agrees, of course) | | | 30 September 2009 16:35 | | | Il voit avec les yeux de la foi/de l'amour --> he sees things through the eyes of a believer/of love (Le Grand Larousse encyclopédique) | | | 30 September 2009 18:24 | | | | | | 30 September 2009 18:50 | | | Is this question for me?
If it's about the last post, then I meant that using "through" is correct.
And as my french is scolastic, I consulted Larousse, which is the most popular and respected french dictionary. There I found that "see through" is a proper phrasal verb for "voir avec" in such a context.
