Title
Je ne veux connaître ni ta ...
Text
Submitted by Francky5591

Remarks about the translation
merciii :D

Title
I don't want to know your philosophy ...
Translation
English

Translated by Ionut Andrei
Target language: English

I don't want to know your philosophy or your religion or your political opinion, I don't care if you are young or old, rich or poor, French or a foreigner. If I allow myself to ask you about your pain, that is not indiscretion, it's just to be able to help you better.

When you call me, I hurry up, but make sure to alert me by the fastest and surest ways. The minutes of waiting will seem long to you, too long, in your distress forgive my apparent slowness.

I've never heard or seen 'I run up' in this context. How about "I (will) come running"?

accourir = run up/rush up

but 'run up' without an object is not used in English...

Perhaps "I hurry up" would sound better.

About "If I allow...is not indiscretion", can a proposition that begins with "if" be subject of another proposition? (In French it is out of question, this combination doesn't work, but I'm not sure at all concerning the English.

If this is not correct, one needs to say "If I allow..., it is not indiscretion..."

Maybe:-)

just two little observations:
a) "If I allow...., *it* is not *due to* indiscretion";
b)"...forgive my *apparent* slowness."
