Hello C.K,
I am not sure whether we should deal with this one as isolated sentences or else as a piece.
However, please note the following:
1.Still waters run deep.
This is a proverb. When we translate proverbs we usually look for an equivelant in the target language. Or else, try to find a translation that has been accredited. A translation for this one:
المياه الهادئة تغور بعيداً.
You'd find translations that use a word other than
تغور
and still it is correct.

2.Nothing ventured, nothing gained .
Could be something like:
ما لا تغامر به لن تكسبه

3.Believe in goodness.
it is
not GOD.

what else?hmmmm....
Have a good day.

Hi again,

Nothing ventured nothing gained, can be translated like this: من لا يحاول, لا يخطىء

What do you think?

No, I think this one is far from the meaning.
Try to find a better one.
One question, why do you right it
instead of
المياه
I have noticed that in several translations of yours.
I found a better one for still waters run deep:
المياه الهادئة تجري عميقاً
this will be much easier to comprehend.

Hello Jaq84,

Cause it is at the beginning of the sentence unless it is/was a typo..
