The house was assembled in place over the weekend, I'm pretty contented.
The house was assembled in place over the weekend, I'm pretty contented. But the weather is of course thousand times better there, here we were almost lost in snow on Saturday and it rained on Sunday. I think the gathering must have brought plenty of happiness!! It's a little bit strange to think that you live so far away
I think this is about that kind of house that comes in kit, they put it together in only a few days. Is it possible to say: "The house was put up ..." ?
I can't find a more direct translation for "til tusen", but the meaning for it = "heaps of" ...something. Here it's about the happiness that comes when you haven't seen somebody for a long time and you reunite. Maybe: "I think there must have been plenty of Reunion happiness!!"
