Is that "systems" or "system"?
You have to combine the plural noun with the plural form "are".
Anyway we'll have to make a change.
It'll be:
"...how your control systems are, in general (usually), assembled..."
or
"how your control system is, in general (usually) assembled..."
regular to secure ---> regularly to assure
can---> may
for the consumer ---> to consumers
What do you think? | | | 30 Junho 2008 15:51 | | piasNúmero de Mensagens: 8113 | I think that you are right! I guess that they are talking about several control systems, so it's in plural, thank you for your explanation. I seems to forget that ALL the time .. How it works in English.
So, I'll edit to your suggestions | | | 30 Junho 2008 18:17 | | lenabNúmero de Mensagens: 1084 | I would like to have the verb after "in general".
".. the control systems in general are assembled.." What do you think? | | | 30 Junho 2008 18:28 | | piasNúmero de Mensagens: 8113 | Yes lenab, that sounds good to me! But I'm not the English expert, so we better wait and see what SHE THINKS! | | | 30 Junho 2008 18:36 | | | If that "SHE" is me, I'd say that "in general" like "usually, commonly, always, never, etc..." has to be placed between the two parts of a compound tense or a passive voice like in this case. | | | 30 Junho 2008 18:52 | | piasNúmero de Mensagens: 8113 | Yes, sorry ...I know your name Lilian.
So I guess that it's ok. as it is, right? | | | 30 Junho 2008 22:43 | | lenabNúmero de Mensagens: 1084 | I aggree, now that I've read the swedish text again. I was thinking of the systems in general and how they were assemled! Sorry! | | | 1 Julho 2008 12:21 | | piasNúmero de Mensagens: 8113 | You don't have to apologize lenab
At least I think it's good that you "make your voice heard", when you are in doubt about my or other translations. |
